The Operational Team of the International Business Council (IBC) were tasked with redesigning the web site with the aim of improving overall Customer satisfaction and collaboration.

The International Business Council provides a platform on which major Customers collaborate on the strategic direction of particular products. Originally hosted on Lotus Quickplace, the IBC's collaborative web presence was receiving consistent criticism from IBC Customer members of the council.
We were commissioned to analyze the existing web application, design, build and facilitate the deployment of a completely new collaborative web site.
We designed a new information model, consistent language and interaction flows through the use of surveys, interviews, observation and usability tests utilizing low fidelity prototypes. We also created a brand neutral identity, strong layout and typography to aid the collaboration and readability of the large amounts of textual information. Search and editable profiles allow IBC Members find each other. Comments to content form an easy method of collaboration and feedback.
The project received a very positive response from the members of the council and the sponsoring IBC VP.
